The Real Presence

Jesus in the Eucharist is my favorite part of the Catholic Church. Actually it is the reason
for my conversion. Ok, what you see above is a monstrance. It holds the Body (The ACTUAL BODY, His PHYSICAL BODY) of Christ. We believe
that when an Ordainded Apostalic Priest Concencrats a Host (one of those waffers) that it becomes the actual body of Christ. Just
like at the last supper. Same for the wine, when it is concencratedit becomes for us the Precious Blood, the same blood as on
calvery. We don't believe that it is a symbol like many protastant churches do. Where do we get this? First from the Bible John 6, and
1 Cor 11:23-30. Second from Tradition, since the Catholic Church is the first church, Yes it goes all the way back to the Apostals, and the
Apostals taught this, exactly what we teach today. Tradition itself is enough but the bible goes so much deeper and gets really
interesting. I'll work on getting the Biblical view of the Eucharist up A.S.A.P. You want to know how much we believe Christ is in
the Eucharist. We believe the Host when Concencration becomes the Jesus so it (he) is Worshipable. Yes if you saw Christ in Flesh and Blood, you
would worship him would you not? So since Christ is in the Eucharist we are able to worship him like he is. Check this page out
